December 28, 2024 - Event
The Jubilee Year stars on Dec. 24, 2024 with the opening of the Holy Door in Rome. In the Diocese of Sacramento, the faithful will participate in a special Vigil Mass to proclaim the Jubilee Year. Bishop Jaime Soto will preside.
January 21, 2025 - Event
Learn about the teachings of the Church on cremation, steps to take when cremation if your preferred option for end-of-life care, and how to be prepared through planning ahead.
Light snacks will be provided during the workshop.
January 22, 2025 - Event
Bishop Soto, joined by members of the clergy of Sacramento, will offer a Mass of Reparation for the sin of legalized abortion inflicting the people of California.
January 22 marks the anniversary of the lamentable 1973 U.S. Supreme Court Decision, Roe v. Wade.
